Getting started
Before designing your Personal Training programme, I need to assess you. Completing an assessment is the first step towards a bespoke exercise and nutrition plan for you.
Your Personal Training sessions
Having completed your assessment, I will guide you through a 6 week programme. This involves a minimum of 2 Personal Training sessions per week over a 6 week period. Throughout the 6 week programme, I will continually assess your bodyfat % closely monitoring your body composition progressions.
Functional strength, athleticism and endurance sums up myphilosophy towards being in great shape. My programmes are based around the principles of dropping your body fat % whilst improving your relative strength, muscular endurance and core strength. I deliberately steer away from using Body Building principles avoiding the bulky look whilst favoring a more dynamic and athletic physique.
Within your programmes, I will be using a mixture of equipment including; barbells, dumbbells, strength bands, medicine balls, swiss balls and kickboxing pad work. You can be sure that your lean physique will match your fitness and strength.
Your Nutrition Plan
Each client of mine is provided with a daily nutrition plan to suit their body type and goals. Your meal plans will include the exact breakdown of each food group and step by step instructions to follow with each meal of the day. I will specifically include pre and post workout meals and advice on supplmentation if required.
Your food plan is based on the results of your assessment where I establish your genetic body type, link areas of fat storage on your body to hormonal imbalance and calculate your lean muscle mass. With this information, Iwill create your nutrition plan which is personalised to your body.
